-Assistantship is in support of the High Energy Lasers group at UAH led by Dr. James Hadaway-Created application for interfacing with scientific camera in digital holography set up-Performs lab work in support of digital holography project for military applications

-Project: Modeling and Simulation of Polarimetric signature of biological, man-made, and natural particles- Used MATLAB to simulate the polarimetric signature of spherical particles. Based simulation approach on Mie theory.- Ran parametric studies with simulation developed in MATLAB for particles varying in size and composition

-Effectively communicated and coordinated with instructor in charge of Physics labs to facilitate a smooth transition to online labs. -Assisted students with the transition to online lab. Conducted troubleshooting to resolve issues with online lab software. Worked with students with issues accessing software necessary to complete labs, to include creating alternate labs when software failed. -Managed due dates, grades, and course material for various Physics II and Astronomy I lab sections.-Served as a tutor for the Physics Success Center.

-Obtained and maintained a secret security clearance for duration of appointment.-Learned new skill sets quickly in order to fill gaps in personnel. -Effectively communicated with Program Managers, Project Managers, and other project delivery team members to manage project funds, ensure timely payment of invoices, and ensure timely delivery of project deliverables. -Proactively monitored the status of invoices for 3 programs to ensure the timely payment of invoices. Coordinated with the US Army Corps of Engineers Finance Center and Project Managers to resolve issues with invoices and avoid delays in payments of invoices.-Briefed the status of projects for the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) program to the Programs Director and other high ranking government officials.

-Became a Level I Certified Tutor through the College Reading and Learning Association-Worked collaboratively with students to understand complex concepts. -Communicated effectively with students of different education levels.-Assisted students in developing problem-solving skills for independent studying.-Regularly applied time management skills in order to give students the most value out of study sessions.
