I served as the PTA Membership in 2016-2017 for a Title 1 school. Our school received Early Bird Award, Membership Increase Award, Honor Roll Award, President's List Award for the first time in the school's history. I continued to serve as a PTA Executive Board Officer and ensured the continuity of PTA local unit’s mission and vision.

I volunteered at the school on an as-needed basis. I made copies, laminated, madedie-cuts, put together booklets, cut and sorted various items for teachers. I enjoyed working in the library as I shelved books, discharged books, and helped the librarian and assistant in the many assignments offered.

There are many ways that our family tries to volunteer our time. My favorite activities are Saturday Volunteer and Faith Formation Catechist. Actor in various plays. I assisted in developing plans to execute projects and initiatives that supportedthe broader short and long term marketing strategy. I helped ensure the brand remains relevant to consumers and that all initiatives supported the brand promise.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Worked with Owner to develop annual local store marketing plans. Coordinated charitable functions that align with Blimpie's mission and values to support once per quarter. Created/Identified marketing materials for use in promoting events and driving sales Supported fundraising program and actively sell the program in the local community through cold calling and visiting previous customers. Ensured proper execution and adherence to Blimpie's brand strategy.

I joined Sierra Pointe in February 2005 as the Activities Assistant and was promoted to Activities Director in May 2006. My responsibilities at Sierra Pointe included planning and overseeing the activities in both Independent and Assisted Living. Interacted with residents on a daily basis. I also obtained my CDL (Commercial Drivers License) in order to drove residents to many activities, including plays, dinner, movies, casinos, and out-of-town events. I also trained and continually mentored two Activity Assistants. I managed a $200K annual budget and kept the management consistently aware of ongoing programs, specifically my Director, Pamela Williams.

Designed training manuals to be used to train representatives in the order activation division. Trained sales trainers in San Antonio, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, San Jose, and San Francisco offices on order activation system. Trained customer service representatives and team leaders on order activation system and on improving sales and service skills.

Certified as a trainer in RMS sales and service skills. Trained managers and merchandising staff on service and management skills. Trained store managers and personnel on customer service and sales skills. Helped create and develop training materials and videos in support of our in-house training programs. Coordinated annual vendors and managers conferences with an attendance of 500+ per event.

Coordinated two annual conferences, one for vendors and corporate staff and the other for store management, regional officers, and corporate office directors and executives along with company vendors. Helped maintain a half-million dollar marketing budget which along with cooperative advertising media provided through company vendors which generated over $2 billion dollars in sales annually. Created sales promotions thereby generating add-on sales affecting the bottom line. Managed and trained two Marketing Assistants. Worked with merchandising staff on preprint/ROP production process. Facilitated ad page design with creative staff and commercial artists. Proof ad pages for copy, art and price accuracy.
