Dynamic, meticulous and motivated with a Bachelor's Degree in social sciences and 10+ years of experience in a people facing role. Experience of running my own business. The capability to lead and to work in a team producing effective results. General administrative skills and experience of clerical processes. I am proud of the client focus and relationship management skills I have gained from experience. Capable of all Microsoft Office Software. A desire to improve and adapt to using business software. I have strong interpersonal skills, especially written/verbal communication and empathy.I started the world of work in retail and learned valuable work ethic and customer service skills. I also volunteered for mental health charities for the duration of University. Giving back to the community is important to me therefore, I have organised events that have raised money for palliative care. I most recently worked for eight years as a Care Navigator helping individuals 65+ or with complex health needs. I conducted wellbeing and risk assessments of patients in their own home whilst also working in a multidisciplinary environment, liaising with both professionals and patients respectively. The role required the use of crisis intervention, relationship mediation and motivational interviewing techniques. We, as a team, focused on trying to help patient's achieve their goals and acted as an advocate for them whilst always mindful of their safety as paramount. We supported them and their relations/carers, signposting and referring them to appropriate primary care, voluntary and community services. The role became hybrid working throughout the pandemic. Good time-management, organisation, prioritization of work, contemporaneous data entry of clinical and non-clinical data, team-work and lone-working were fundamental to the role.
