Indirect Assets - Vehicle Lead & Equipment Support
CurrentWork with senior staff and HR on the forecast, schedule and approvals for vehicles and related indirect equipment. Recommendation of vehicles from inventory or start new search for vehicle specifications of make and model.The main point of contact for drivers on any issues, changes, returns, gas cards, toll and parking charges, traffic violations and vehicle breakdown throughout the project.Manage pooled vehicles and driver reassignments including all related costs, assets and reporting.Co-authored vehicle policy program, implemented new processes for change management, and risk mitigation. Distribution license renewal program communications needed through the project team.Manage indirect vehicle asset lifecycle from budget, assess staffing needs, costs, schedule, procurement, compliance, safety, logistics, reassignments and disposal program. Managed the procurement of new vehicles for construction and tunnel work including, up fitting components and MOL approval tier 4 emissions. Additional Hi-Rail industry equipment required on Superduty diesel trucks for use on the tracks includes safety equipment as part of the hi-rail hydraulic kit. Collected data for various reporting: fuel, driving distances, license renewals, tire changes, insurance, maintenance and repairs.Created incident and maintenance reporting tools, vehicle database for analysis and reports. Manage incident and accidents from call-in drivers ensuring safety, identification protocol and vehicle recovery are managed and data is recorded.Liaison daily with dealerships and third-party suppliers and services. Manage supplier contracts and obtain quotes for damages and repair for parts and services. Approve invoices for work completed to vehicles for payment in AP system.
