The training often involved extensive travel throughout the United States and Canada, providing on-site support to the vast customer base. After 5 1/2 years in education, I assumed the position of Lead Technical Writer. I was challenged to document my vast product knowledge, in a format understandable to the user. The “User’s Guide” formula I developed, is still in use today. The “User’s Guides” have been praised by both customers and employees as the most comprehensive user documentation, ever written for the Innovative Transportation System.
