Responsible for development and management of the Global Investigator Payment Management team and activities which support execution of investigator global payments relating to all clinical site contract documents and any other associated activities as assigned. Support CBO LT and assists with the development of policy and processes that optimize the planning, implementation and maintenance of payment and associated contracting processes and systems. Responsible for quality management, governance and framework of all selected site payment vendors.Directs all operations of Site Payments Department• Oversee hiring, training, evaluation, compliance and retention of employees• Implement and maintain department, work instructions (WI) and standard operating procedures (SOP)• Provide oversight to Site Payment personnel• Oversee site payments to ensure accuracy and timeliness• Manages selected vendor budgets• Evaluate departmental capacity needs on an ongoing basis and coordinate/delegate workload efficiently and in accordance with given timelines.• Track metrics and evaluate effectiveness of current processes• Identify areas of improvement to site payment process and implement process changes• Evaluate Key Performance Indicators (KPI) of Payment vendor on an ongoing basis to ensure acceptable performance.• Address issues with payment vendor as necessary and help remedy in a timely fashion• Meet with internal and external clients/stakeholders and to and manage specific requirements of each project• Collaborate with CBO and ClinOps (as needed) to develop study Investigator Grants budget and payment schedule.• Develop/oversee quality control process over budget development to coincide with protocol and amendments.• Develop client Governance templates, Portfolio plans, Project plans and processes• Oversees global site Payment Management team, related processes and procedures, including revisions and process improvement initiatives, as needed.
