I worked as a student tutor for students who started in the fall semester of 2021. My group consisted of 15 students and my job was to introduce them to the student life of Oulu university and the culture of engineer students in Oulu.

Working in Centria-ammattikorkeakoulu consisted of a lot of different things. In the first month I collected data from old projects to move them to a different platform. I also did an user guide for eDuuni-platform for Centria’s workers. The other two months I did remote ID-recognitions for foreign students coming to Centria. My working language was English..

My job description consisted mainly of cleaning stairwells and their service buildings. I also cleaned office spaces and did periodic cleanings of apartment buildings, which consists of stairwell waxing etc. My work was mainly independent apart from the periodic cleaning.

Cleaning and maintenance work around the city. I picked weeds, raked the ground and trimmed bushes as well as other maintenance work.
