As an ambitious future teacher, I am dedicated to making education more accessible. My passion is making engaging internet content for learners in both humanities and sciences that could be used by students and teachers alike, especially for language minorities in Estonia.My greatest strength is my ability to teach myself new skills very fast. This has allowed me to start projects that traditionally require a whole team - all of my skills are transferable and I'm not afraid to learn on the job. For example I taught myself to animate to create videos about history, chemistry, biology and other subjects; furthermore I learned the basics of programming and Microsoft Exel so I could make an application to optimise my workflow. I also excel at organising groups to reach a common goal, at starting projects from scratch and making them sustainable in the long term. Where's I am able to do many things on my own, I know the value of delegating tasks and responsibilities. As one of the founding members and the editor-in-chief of my middle school's newspaper, I learned to design the layouts, helped establish the editorial board, organised all of our journalists and developed a system for keeping track of everything.My biggest success story is the debate club, which I started when I was only 16 - after three years, we are one of the biggest clubs in Estonia. I began competitively debating when I was 14. By now I have represented my country internationally in the World Schools Debating Championships two times, and achieved success in other national and international competitions. I have given debate and rhetoric lessons in multiple schools, taken apart of the Estonian Debating Society's projects, including coaching, campaigns against misinformation and organising competitions. Additionally I also have international debate organising experience, as I was the equity officer for a prestigious tournament Prague Debate Spring 2022.
