As project manager for the Plastic in Circles project in Ambon I'm responsible for implementing the smart waste management solution of SweepSmart, working closely together with local partners and government. This includes:- Community education on waste management and source segregation- A robust waste collection of source segregated waste- Smart Waste Center for waste segregation with high quality, healthy and safe working conditions - Financial viable waste management system Through these initiatives, we reduce plastic pollution, prevent environmental and oceanic contamination, promote a circular economy and create high quality waste management jobs locally.

Vanderlande has an ambitious sustainability program with four pillars: 1) carbon neutral 2) circular economy 3) good business and 4) fulfilling experience (people). As Sustainability Lead for the Technology Department (+300 employees) I set the first steps in implementing those four pillars and its targets into the department for the first year of the program and lead the Sustainability Innovation roadmap.

As Concept & Feasbility engineer I worked on Predictive Maintenance projects in multidisciplinary teams, managing customer requirements and expectations and working with external partners.
