•Acting as the first point of contact for employees and managers to answer HR related queries and provide practical advice on HR issues.•Providing administration support to the HR Department including producing employment contracts, referencing new starters, producing offer letters and documentation, new starter information and arranging the payment of invoices. •Carrying out administration of the monthly payroll processes, including the production of any relevant documentation for employees, inputting salary changes and sickness absence, adding new starters and leavers to the HR system and maintaining an accurate employee database.•Supporting the end to end recruitment process including effectively managing relationships with recruitment agencies, building long-term and successful partnerships. •Contributing to successful direct sourcing initiatives working with a variety of online job boards, printed publications and the management of a range of social media platforms, resulting in a reduction of recruitment agency reliance from 100% to 20% for permanent vacancies. •Writing and posting job adverts for a wide range of vacancies across the organisation.•Supporting HR projects including a recent change management programme, by producing documentation during and following consultation periods and providing support to HR colleagues where required. SPECIFIC ACHIEVEMENTS INCLUDED•Thoroughly researched and introduced two new corporate gym membership options for employees, visiting various health and fitness sites and assessing the needs of our employees. This achieved a higher uptake than previous membership options and fantastic feedback from employees.•Transformed the HR Shared Drive creating a user friendly document filing structure, saving the HR team unnecessary time searching for documents and resources.
