I'm a veterinary student at the University of Bristol with a passion for wildlife and wild animals. I have a variety of experience in conservation including living and working at a wild animal rescue centre in the Bolivian jungle for 3 months. I’m also starting my career in research through a project I’ve set up in collaboration with Attica Zoo, Athens investigating the extent of invasive terrapins in the area. My career goal is to become an emergency vet whilst working with endangered animals to try and preserve the wonderful species still on the planet.

Veterinary Emergency Group ExternVeterinary Emergency Group Jun 2024 - Jul 2024Santa Monica, California, United StatesI'm so happy to have recently completed my month-long externship with Veterinary Emergency Group. This was my first taste of emergency vet practice and I absolutely loved it. We saw an incredible range of cases from the more common foreign body obstructions to perineal necrosis due to an unknown cause...! My diagnostic imaging skills are hugely improved from daily practice doing POCUS's and x-rays as well as a few endoscopies. I'm endlessly grateful to the passionate team at the Santa Monica hospital and all they taught me - see you all soon!
