Managed the Southland Undaria Control Programme through its cessation, publishing the final Undaria Programme report as lead author. Led a response to a marine invasive incursion at the Snares Islands including leading the field expedition. Led a project to assess economic impacts of the Leigh marine reserve. Published a report as lead author and presented a conference paper on the report. Managed field staff. Led a project to develop consistent marine reserve management practice. • Responsible for the management of two Marine Reserves and marine biodiversity surveys and species collections at Campbell, Auckland, Bounty, Antipodes and Snares Islands• Developed and implemented operational and monitoring plans for the two marine reserves and set these up as templates for use by other marine reserve managers
