- Managed an aggressive earned media program resulting in strong local press coverage for Rep. Pete Aguilar’s (D-CA) Frontline re-election campaign victory.- Set up interviews, issued press releases, provided on-the-record statements to local reporters and oversaw a social media agenda aimed at generating positive earned media stories.- Coordinated with outside consultants on the campaign’s mail and television ad program.

- Drafted press releases, newsletters, talking points and Congressional Record statements.- Oversaw social media program (Facebook, Twitter and Flickr) and managed the official website.- Coordinated with the district office to organize constituent events.- Managed mail program by responding to thousands of letters sent by constituents covering a wide array of legislative issues.- Developed a strong understanding of Intranet Quorum (IQ), our mail database.

Regional Field Director- Supervised field organizers in competitive 31st Congressional District General Election resulting in a win for Democrat Pete Aguilar.- Organized massive volunteer phone banks and canvasses with the goal of persuading and turning out voters.- Worked closely with the Aguilar campaign to coordinate photo shoots with volunteers to enhance and produce an effective paid communications program.Field Organizer - U.S. Congressional Primary race which resulted in a 209-vote victory for Democrat Pete Aguilar.- Oversaw Get Out The Vote (GOTV) efforts during the Primary, which included a paid canvassing program.- Recruited volunteers to help oversee successful hand recount of Primary race votes.

- Wrote press releases announcing our newly acquired films to the Hollywood media, including Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, and Screen International.- Coordinated private meetings with film distributors and set up meetings with potential buyers.

- Wrote politics and news headlines for the “Fox and Friends” morning program and pitched story ideas that were produced for future shows.- Stories were aimed to reach out to Fox’s core audience by focusing on what would be most appealing and informative to viewers.- Major events covered included the Osama bin Laden raid, GOP presidential debates, and the Joplin, Missouri tornadoes.

- Wrote, filmed, edited and presented local news and sports stories on live TV.- Submitted dozens of live reports in the field including live breaking news stories.- Covered Proposition 8 during the 2008 election as well as state and local races.
