I am a young, energetic and enthusiastic electrical and software engineer with a passion for problem solving, engineering design, renewable energy and software development. I am big picture orientated and love to work across various disciplines with other engineers such as chemical and mechanical, which enables me to better understand and optimize the design flow between the various engineering fields. In 2022 I was working for Tramper Technology as a software engineer. Before working at Tramper Technology I worked at Sasol where I completed my three-year electrical engineer in training program, which is considered to be the best in the country. I now aspire to combine my electrical knowledge with software engineering to become a versatile electric/electronic/software engineer. Although I am young and still have a lot to learn, I am open-minded and ready to take on any challenge no matter how big or complex it may be. Some of my areas of expertise include: electrical motors, centrifugal pumps, transformers, protection schemes, MV and LV cables, ETAP studies, RCAs, load-flow studies, short-circuit studies, grading, electrical permits and switching, PLC programming, Lenze drives, CAN networks, profibus, profinet, distribution boards (DBs), distribution networks, switchgear and asset monitoring. I am especially highly skilled in lightning protection, HVAC designs and software development such as HTML5, CSS, javascript, C, python, VBA and PLC programming.I am now self-employed and the Director of an electrical engineering company Dontuwire Group (Pty) Ltd.
