Under the VA's Supportive Services for Veteran Families grant, I am responsible for spreading the word about the SSVF program in the community as well as connecting Veterans who are currently experiencing homelessness to SSVF services. I also coordinate the efforts of SSVF Outreach Teams that are working to end Veteran homelessness in Duval, Clay and Nassau Counties.

Primary state point of contact and subject matter expert for Child Development Services, School Age Services, Youth Programs, School Liaison Services, Education and Outreach Support and Community-Based Services programs.- Implemented a program growth plan that resulted in an increase in deployment cycle child and youth resilience building events from zero in 2008 to twenty-two events in 2012, serving over 1300 military children and youth annually. - Developed and managed annual program budgets using statistical data and needs assessments that led to a 500% increase over a 4 year period in available Child and Youth Program operating funds- Managed and implemented Florida's Exceptional Family Member Program; responsible for conducting outreach to community partners, screening special needs families and providing information, resource and referral services.- Created and implemented a residential summer camping program for military children that provided four, week long camps annually serving over 425 military children/teens. - Developed and implemented an innovative family resilience retreat focused on communication utilizing the 7 Habits of Highly Effective Military Families, Teens and Children's curriculums. -Served on: Florida Defense Alliance Military Family Working Group, Military Child Education Coalition Public Engagement Steering Committee, Florida Military Exceptional Needs Youth Network, Clay County 4H Advisory Board, Florida 4H Youth Development Advisory Council and the Operation: Military Kids State Team.

Planned, organized and directed the efforts of 75 instructors delivering high risk Naval Aviaition Survival Training to student Naval Aviators at four East Coast Locations.- Designed and conducted aviation survival training and development programs that improved individual and organizational performance resulting in a 40% reduction in instructor certification time and a 75% reduction in training quality discrepancies.- Supervised the professional development of 75 personnel, focusing on personal growth and mission accomplishment; which resulted in promotion rates 24% above normal and 100% employee retention and unprecedented employee recognition and award. - Managed the units High Risk Training Program and ensured 23 aviation physiology and water survival curricula were 100% compliant with established training safety standards. - Responsible for the management and oversight of a 1.5 million dollar training device support contract.

Responsible for the training, readiness and professional development of assigned combat helicopter crews.- Ensured 100% mission completion and combat readiness while conducting high tempo/high risk combat operations in support of Iraqi Freedom. - Analyzed and evaluated the operational efficiency, training and readiness of flight crews and directed the daily flight scheduling of 50 personnel. - Conducted 300 military career development boards and individual interviews for retention, advanced education and training opportunities.- Facilitated 50 command orientation sessions, 40 Equal Opportunity and 20 Prevention of Sexual Harassment seminars.
