Even retired, I continue to browse Linkedin to get updates of the appointments of ex-colleagues here and there... And you never know I may see interesting opportunities or fun projects that I might want to join. In this I keep my eyes and ears open. In addition, my profile reminds me of all those beautiful moments spent with extraordinary clients and colleagues over time at #Gaz Metro, #iA, #Digital, #Forrester, #Microsoft and #IBM/LGS…Before retiring here's how I was used to described myself for business: "I help clients succeed in the adoption and use of data management, system integration and cloud solutions supporting their strategic business initiatives. Our society is entering the 4th industrial revolution where “data” is the new energy. We have never created or been exposed to so much data. This explosion is caused by new technologies that connect people, communication devices, applications... Organizations must promote a "data culture" for their employees and thus becoming “data-driven". Passionate about technology and having worked into the world of data early in my career, I participate in this revolution: understanding data to convert them into ideas, business insights and actions. I am known for my ability to analyze complex issues, to propose innovative solutions and to communicate with decision makers. I worked on many large complex customer initiatives that I'm particularly proud of, including: • Large Enterprise Application Messaging backbone (clinical and administrative) for provincial-wide project and health agencies in Eastern Canada• Analysis and simulation of a large north American city public transport transit • Rationalization and consolidation of the data infrastructure for a Government-wide shared services organization"
