Lou is a strategic operator and technology entrepreneur. He has 30+ years experience launching and helping VC and PE backed companies create industry leading positions that have resulted in 6 successful exits. Recently, Lou was Founder and Principal at SaasClout, an advisory for VC backed SaaS start ups, as well as President & COO at Magnitude Software, a provider of unified application data management solutions. Magnitude was sold by Audax Group to 3i Group in March 2019.Joining Magnitude Software from Scribe Software, he served as CEO and a board member. During his tenure the Scribe team doubled revenue and delivered an award-winning cloud based integration platform (iPaaS). Scribe was acquired by TIBCO Software in June 2018.Previously, Lou was Director, Operations and Strategy at IBM Software Group. He joined IBM through the acquisition of WebDialogs in 2007. The WebDialogs service became the first multi-tenant SaaS offering for IBM. As CEO of WebDialogs, Lou was responsible for the strategy and growth of its online meeting solutions to service providers, equipment providers and ISVs. Prior to this, Lou was Vice President, Business Development at Tessera Enterprise Systems, a marketing strategy and technology solutions company that was acquired by an interactive agency. Before joining Tessera, Lou was founder and SVP, Sales and Marketing at Workgroup Solutions, a Regional Systems Integrator. During this time, Workgroup Technology, a PLM software company, was spun out and had an IPO. Workgroup Solutions was later sold to an investment firm.Lou holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of New Hampshire. He is a Venture Partner at Slater Technology Fund. He served on the board of the SIIA Software Division, was a member of the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council and a mentor at EforAll. Lou was recognized by Massachusetts High Tech magazine as a 2011 All-Star.
