Engineering Student at Mcgill University with an interest in design, hands on application, and creative problem solving. I have been gaining experience in the semi-conductor industry by prototyping, testing, and maintaining machines in Lam Research's R&D lab. I now actively participate in iterating on project concepts and coordinating between teams to make rapid decisions and ensure customer satisfaction.I have been involved in Engineering design projects since high school, where I participated in the FIRST robotics team to design, manufacture, and compete in international competitions, allowing me to learn both about proper design through mentors, but also about proper team management, communication skills, and leadership through the years.Transitioning to undergraduate studies, I joined the Mcgill rocket team to remain involved in students design projects. As a part of the aerodynamics sub-team, I help create molds for rocket bodies, performed composite infusions, designed the rocket support, and helped create guides to facilitate future team members in repeating the processes made by our group. Participating in the design projects has given me experience with problem solving under time and budget constraints. For my final year capstone project, I was part of a team that worked on designing a hand-held reversible pump to help in the measurement and study of intra-abdominal pressure in the biomedical field. Working under a client with a clear vision of the final product has proven to be exhilarating as the team works to create the best outcome. The product intended to create a new method of measuring a patient's intra-abdominal pressure using methods described from recent research in the field. By designing a non-invasive measurement system, the project aimed at increasing the speed and accuracy of measurement.
