During this period of employment progressive increases in responsibilities starting with assignment in Engineering and Maintenance. • Assignments in North Carolina with 740K sqft mfg. plant design and startup, including hiring of Facilities Manager, operations team, scope development, bid and award of subcontract services. • Project manager for greenfield manufacturing plant in Chennai India, encompassing architectural, engineering design and construction management. Seven month completion from ground break to product ship.

Responsible for Central Texas Region, 2.3 million sq.ft. of industrial and commercial real estate, for FACServices, a facility management company. We offered a full scope of services, including facility operation and maintenance, project management, space planning, and construction services for a wide range of industrial and commercial customers such as Solectron, Motorola, Texas Instruments, and Active Power. I managed over 150 personnel in ensuring our customers’ needs are met on multiple accounts. Financial accountability for these accounts, supplier management, uniform and best practices across accounts and the growth of our business in Texas were prime responsibilities.

Previous multiple assignments as customer account manager with client companies which included providing Facilities Operation and Maintenance services. This included, project management, safety programs, construction services, mfg. line installations, rearrangements, security, landscape and janitorial services. This role required bid and pricing for all aforementioned services. Employee hiring, guidance, benefits management, and account financial controls were additional responsibilities.

Site Facilities Manager • Responsible for managing 908,000 sq.ft. site facilities dept., which includes engineering, central utilities plant, maintenance of building & grounds, manufacturing equipment installations, office rearrangements, and telecommunications. Site services also included: security, cleaning services, mail and copy services, and cafeteria services. Manager of Maintenance, Central Utility Plant Operations, Grounds Maintenance and Telecommunications • Responsible for the operation and maintenance of all owned and leased buildings, a total of 1,116,000 gross sq. ft., including building equipment maintenance and grounds maintenance of 466 acres. Responsible for utility systems including high voltage switchgear/substation/feeder design and maintenance. Responsibilities include the supervision of twenty-one employees, forecasting, and management of $1.9 million annual budget, Utility Plant expansion, installation of plant utility and energy management systems, Capital Improvement Projects and compliance with regulatory requirements.Manager of Facilities Engineering• Responsible for the design and planning of all sustaining and new construction installations for the Texas Instruments, Austin plant. Responsibilities included the supervision of engineers, planners and designers, project cost control, directing of architectural/engineering firms, and cost center financial management.Electrical Engineer - Facilities • Responsible for electrical design of the Multi-Layer Board Shop, which included; plating lines, air scrubbers, cupric chloride etchers, upgrading of the Ro & DI systems, and installation of all associated mfg. equipment. Responsible for overall sustaining electrical work for over 1,000,000 sq. ft. of mfg. and office space. Responsibilities included design, engineering, coordination, specification, bid evaluation, estimation, and technical report preparation for new or upgraded facilities.
