Louis E. Sousa, CFALou is an experienced portfolio manager, with 30 years of experience in the investment industry. He spent eight years at Scudder Investments where he became a Vice President of the firm working with various types of institutional and retail clients primarily on multi-strategy asset allocation portfolios. He was a founding member of the investment office at Wellesley College in 2002 where he spent 10 years as a member of the team managing the College endowment. He later went on to manage marketable equities and hedge fund strategies for Williams College. Lou joined Plimoth Investment Advisors in 2016 as the Chief Investment Officer. Lou holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and Boston Security Analysts Society. He received a BS in Business Administration with minors in Finance and Economics from Roger Williams University.Lou currently serves as a member of the Finance Committee and as a Corporator of the SouthCoast Community Foundation where he served two terms as a member of the Board of Directors from 2017–2023 in a number of capacities including: Treasurer, Chair of the Finance Committee and member of the Investment Committee and Audit Committee. Lou also serves on the Investment Committee of the Diocese of Fall River.
