Acting control valve engineering specialist for fossil fuel, nuclear and new technology power plant applications. Responsible for preparing/reviewing control valve specifications and data, evaluating bids from manufacturers, independently verify valve, actuator and desuperheater sizing calculations, review P&ID's, piping isometrics and valve drawings to verify proper installation and resolving control valve operational problems.

Valve inside sales engineer for Fisher Control products including responding to daily inquiries and providing service and support for the power utilities located in North and South Carolina. Key contact for Power/Severe Service applications including valve and actuator sizing of numerous critical process flow applications, N-Stamp, Code, and Safety Related control valves, as well as various fossil, hydro-electric and combustion turbine loops. Acted as primary liaison between multiple manufacturing/service facilities and the customer sites.Utilities covered but not limited to Duke Energy, Progress Energy, South Carolina Electric and Gas, Primary Energy, Cogentrix, etc.

Manufacturing representative for Masoneilan valves, ABB Kent Taylor instrumentation and supplemental process control products for North and South Carolina. Covered multiple disciplines including Pulp & Paper, Chemical, Textile and Power industries.

Site Support Engineer developed a configuration plan for Westinghouse Savannah River's Special Recovery/ Plutonium Storage Facility. Assured compliance with all project, company and quality assurance procedures. Specification Coordinator responsible for writing procurement/lump sum specifications, purchase requisitions and guide specifications for the WSRC project.Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer responsible for cable sizing, wire tabulations, connection, elementary and logic diagrams for several systems at the Duke Energy Bad Creek Pumped Storage Facility.Design Engineer responsible for lighting calculations, electrical and lighting distribution, Bailey Net 90 Distributive Control System Interconnects, elementary diagrams, conduit and cable tray layout for Purdue University's Fluidized Bed Boiler Plant addition.

Plant Engineer for New York Power Authority's Indian Point Unit 3 Nuclear Plant supporting plant modifications, retest procedures, lighting and load studies.Task leader supervising the conversion from Honeywell to IBM mainframes including the addition of remote terminals at the site and White Plains Office. Represented site interests during CASP (Cable Schedule Program) steering Committee meetings.Field Engineer studying the effects of fire preventative coating on 480 volts and 4160 volt divisional cable trays located at Tennessee Valley Authority's Brown's Ferry Nuclear Power Plant. Conducted field walk-downs for tray inspection and performed de-rating calculations from data acquired.
