As Vice President of Business Operations for Montgomery Enterprises Inc., I serve as an extension of the president in leading and supporting the company's growing number of business locations as well as overseeing a team of regional managers responsible for ongoing management.Our company has thirty-four different businesses, including: twenty-nine short-term lending facilities (Money Matters), and an auto auction (Fulton Auto Auction). We continue to expand all segments of our businesses, both by adding new locations and by improving the current ones. Our former business entities include two pawn and jewelry stores (Choice Pawn & Jewelry), and two car lots (Approved Auto Sales). We're excited about our latest venture -- franchise locations for Take5 Oil Change (take5oilchange.com). To better learn the business, I took an intensive, hands-on four-week training session -- under the cars, actually changing oil. Our past business opportunities have proven to us that the best way to run a business and understand the daily operations, is to actually know what the work entails. Montgomery Enterprises Inc. works with various charities in the communities it serves. Most significantly, MEI has adopted a floor at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital as part of Le Bonheur's Adopt-a-Floor Program. MEI hosts three functions per year for our adopted floor.
