- Leading improvement programs for suppliers’ quality assurance.- Conduct supplier quality audits, prepare remedial work plans and ensure implementation of corrective/preventive actions to ensure compliance to agreed requirements.- Develop, implement and maintain methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the conformance of parts and products delivered by suppliers.- Ensure that supplier quality non-conformances are correctly captured using the appropriate tools and follow up with supplier for failure analysis. - Manage the investigation cycle for supplier non-conformances from initial data analysis throughout to the closure of corrective actions with assigned suppliers.- Provide and follow up with suppliers on a regular basis to ensure all supplier quality non-conformances are understood and addressed.- Working closely with different stakeholders from different countries and sites to improve suppliers' quality performance effectively and efficiently. - Execute and support parts, process and supplier qualification plans (PPQP).- Certified ISO 9001:2015 lead auditor.

• Develop and execute reliable, cost effective and high quality manufacturing solutions for products from new- product introduction through end of lifecycle.• Cooperate with the NPI PM team, Test Engineers, Quality, Production, Planning, Logistic and other departments to ensure smooth run of the production• In charge of BOM, product audits, drive potential product holds, quality checks, setting up new processes, etc.• Performs root causes analysis of defective product units or sub- assemblies; consolidates results of customer feedback and manufacturing, test, and quality assurance processes for product.• Escalate any product and or process issue found to have major impact on quality, process and or cycle time and not able to resolve locally• Monitor FPY and provide improvement plan.

- Managing and driving suppliers on improving DPPM (Defective Parts er Million) and quality issues for PCBAs (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) and Mechanical chassis based on data analysis. - Evaluating suppliers based on their performances in quality performance, technical, flexibility and responsive.- Monitoring the return or closure of Non-conformal parts back to suppliers to ensure no defective parts are hold in our inventory.- Engaging with vendors on jig and fixture to improve quality and lead time in production.- Review and negotiate with suppliers on rework cost.- Weekly meeting with suppliers to discuss on technical and quality issues. - Engaging contractors to rework mechanical chassis to salvage the units as many as possible.- Newly assigned Cost Reduction Lead- Coordinating with suppliers and contractors on screening/reworking on quality issue parts based on purge notice.- Ensure suppliers' delivery is fulfilling production demand especially when there is part shortages due to quality issues.

- Providing engineering support to local customer and communicating with factory in China.- On-site verification on PCA (Printed Circuit Assembly) and mechanical server chassis.- Providing cost quotation on mechanical spare parts to customer and purchasing from factory to rework FID (factory/customer induced defect) units. - Arranging shipment for Non-conforming Parts from customer back to factory for Failure Analysis, Debugging, Rework and etc. - Weekly conference call meeting with customers to discuss on quality issues and DPPM (Defective Parts per Million).- Closely working together with factory to drive DPPM reduction. - Participated in customer Kaizen project to reduce FID (Factory/Customer Induced Defects) at customer site.

• Provide technical support to PCBA and Box manufacturing in continuous improvement of product quality and productivity.• Design user-friendly manufacturing process to incorporate build-in product quality as well as optimize the utilization of assembly resources and equipments.• Prepare manufacturing work instruction, checklist and operating procedure for new process requirement.• Fabrication of product tooling, jig and fixtures required by production.• Key driver in NPI activity & RFPY (Roll First Pass Yield) for PCBA and Box Assembly Unit. • Communicate and advise customer on engineering and quality issues.• Monitor yield and analyse trend of defects in order to discuss Correction Action with team• Advise and monitor the product quality in production line• Communicate and advise technical enquiries from customers and from team.
