98point6 Technologies (February 2021 - Current) I’ve worked primarily on our Authentication team where the bulk of my time has been spent transitioning authentication from Auth0 to an internally-built service. Recently I’ve also spent a lot of time helping to transition our APIs from microservices to a pub/sub model. I work primarily in Typescript/React but have also gotten my hands dirty in our Java and Python code bases as well.- Architected and built an integration testing platform for our new serverless applications. This platform was adopted company-wide and used as part of our CI/CD system.- Improved the speed and reliability of application builds by creating infrastructure to orchestrate access to shared resources. These changes brought build success rates from under 50% to above 95% and sped up our development cycle times by 15%.- Designed and built a Data Lake and implemented Data Governance policies for our machine learning team. This required working across several organizations to understand the existing uses for our data to balance how our Data Lake solution can serve both the AI/Machine Learning team as well as our business users.- Helped establish infrastructure patterns during our transition from containerized cloud applications to fully serverless AWS CDK applications.- Helped build our intern program and personally mentored my squad’s intern.

Part of the founding engineering team that built the infrastructure and software stack for an AI/ML-powered process mining application. Zeitworks was a seed stage startup backed by Madrona Ventures.- Worked closely with our product, data-science and data-engineering teams to design and build high-throughput APIs for handling sensor information from customer machines.- Designed and built a customer portal in React which allowed customers to administer their account andreview process performance across workers.- Worked with the Data Engineering/Machine Learning team to build an annotation tool which allowed forquick classification of data from our Snowflake data warehouse.- Built and maintained deployment infrastructure using Auth0, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform andGithub Actions.

Worked on several large data-processing applications as well as working on the UI for our customer-facing product portal which is the main application used by vendors to manage inventory, handle shipping, adjust pricing, etc.- Designed and built a self-service tool for updating pricing data which greatly reduced errors and savedhundreds of people hours annually.- Designed and built a high-throughput data pipeline for processing scraped pricing data. The pipeline was capable of processing 500-600 messages per second.- Built cloud deployment infrastructure using Gitlab CI/CD, AWS Cloudformation and Google Cloud CDK.- Helped launch "core controls" initiative to standardize React components across various front-end applications.- Mentored junior team members and participated in interviewing prospective employees.

Worked on the web development team as well as the infrastructure team which built and maintained organization-wide resources such as our Single Sign On service and our deployment pipelines. I also participated on the employee engagement committee which organized team building events for the company.
