Having worked for the best companies Stratstone, HR Owen,Bramley and Graeme Hunt Ltd selling the best cars.I started my career in the Motor trade at the tender age of 16 when I was taken on by my local Land Rover garage for a 4 year apprenticeship and became a fully qualified mechanic in 1993. In 1999 I saw an advert in the Evening Standard for a Trainee Car Sales Executive. It was a Mazda Dealership that was owned outright by the Dealer Principle in Willesden Green, London. Went for an interview and got the job. Back in those days we didn't have computers on our desk or a Business Manager to do the finance for us and I would do my own underwrites on the Part Exchanges. It held me in good stead as they say. I’ve witnessed many changes in this business over the years, but essentially the basic principle of selling a car has changed very little. If you treat every client as if they may be your last, by giving them the best experience possible whether they are spending £5000 or £50,000 then you will always receive positive results. Without the client we have nothing, they are the most important element of our business.
