Worked as a software engineer for WorldQuant, a global finance firm managing approximately $11 billion in assets via quantitative trading and other quantitative investing methods. My role involves:• Implemented an efficient CI/CD pipeline with an intuitive UI, integrating automated testing, SonarQube for code quality, Docker image building, and deploying services across multiple environments, significantly reducing deployment time from hours to under 30 minutes.• Set up Prometheus for system metrics collection and Grafana for visualizing CPU, RAM, Kubernetes resources, host instances, and web traffic. Configured email alerts for threshold breaches and issues, enabling immediate team response.• Created and maintained numerous APIs for data retrieval, processing, and backend interaction, ensuring robustness, security, and scalability.• Reviewed code to ensure merge requests met business requirements and quality standards.

As one of the first key members hired, we built a dating website in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, a market-funded startup (more than USD 2 million). At that time, our platform attracted nearly 100,000 users, including free and paid users. My responsibilities are:• Analyzed product requirements and implemented features for a minimum viable product to raise funding for a dating website with nearly 100,000 users.• Optimized code and performance using AWS services such as CDN, ELB, and ElastiCache.• Provided technical mentorship and instructed team members on solving technical tasks.
