As a conservationist and environmental consultant, I champion protection, restoration, and preservation of dedicated land, trails, and parks. Having spent over 30 years in the environmental services industry, I’ve amassed a wealth of environmental awareness and expertise which I utilize to inspire change and informed decision-making.I take pride in my work and as an executive level program and project manager and use integrity, honesty, and a realistic approach when designing and delivering effective programs and projects centered on conserving, monitoring, and managing land. I freely share my knowledge with my colleagues, organizations, and educational institutions, while leading and collaborating with teams to produce results. A few of my proudest achievements include designing, building, and maintaining the California Coastal Trail in Mendocino County, leading trail crews, and guiding backpack trips in various wilderness settings. I’ve worked for numerous non-profit organizations over the years, from the Mendocino Land Trust to the Redwood Coast Land Conservancy, successfully advancing their overall missions. Areas of Specialty: Securing critical money through fundraising and grant writing. Designing, planning, constructing, and maintaining recreational trails. Maximizing available resources through budgeting and cost estimates.  Acquiring land and negotiating conservation easements with private landowners.  Mobilizing individuals and groups to get involved through community outreach efforts.  Gathering and distributing key information based on watershed & environmental impact assessments.I look forward to becoming an engaged and proactive member of your team and contributing my ideas, knowledge, and passion toward environmental conservation.
