This is a zero hours contract and involves work mainly at weekends and in the school holidays.I attend ceremonies at approved premises in the county, usually the Stroud and Cotswold areas.Working in partnership with another Registrar/Celebrant, we each have separate roles to play in the ceremony. As a Deputy Registrar, my responsibility is to carry out the pre-ceremony interviews with the brides/grooms and check all information provided is accurate prior to signing the legal schedule.Weddings can be emotional and overwhelming, my priority is to ensure that the participants are happy and relaxed before going ahead and that they are aware of what will happen whilst they are with us.As a Deputy Superintendent Registrar, my role is to guide the couple through the ceremony and stage manage the event itself - letting professional photographers get the best for their clients; ensuring the legalities are adhered to and that the guests are able to see, hear and enjoy the ceremony.This post fulfills one of my ambitions to become a Celebrant and I enjoy it immensely - who doesn't love a good wedding?!

Working with NEET young people (or those likely to be neet) to support with a range of issues - including careers guidance, job seeking skills, highlighting training and education opportunities, housing, sexual health, delivering workshops around life skills, offering outdoor activities e.g. climbing, biking, bushcraft. Applying psychological theories in assessing young people. Use of genograms and chronologies to inform assessment and understanding.Measuring and recording levels of risk.Improving self esteem, confidence, team work ability, initiative and communication skills in clients and empowering them to make positive choices and move forward in life.Coordinating multi-disciplinary team approach to work with NEET young people and track down those young people whom the service has lost touch with.Successful authoring of sessions and co-ordination of European Social Fund project with payment on results.Confident in dealing with highly emotional situations e.g. suicidal thoughts, child protection incidents and First Aid for clients that self-harm.
