I have thrived and enjoyed being a firefighter for 19 years, and more recently being an officer in charge. The skills involved are transferrable to my accommodation company. A firefighter is highly professional, organised, good at problem solving, risk assessing and being efficient. My husband Max worked at London Array as a technician for DONG Energy/Orsted. It was his time there, talking to his travelling colleagues about their poor accommodation, that we decided to start our company. We specifically created 'Belmont Accommodation' 6 years ago, to provide homes for travelling professionals working on the wind farms from Ramsgate's Royal Harbour. Companies appreciate our service, and we receive continual and returning business.
