About Louisa Schweigel

I am an extremely motivated, passionate and enthusiastic young professional. I have a BS in Rehabilitation Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I received my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Iowa. I believe in personal growth above all else, no matter how linear or how slow the process may be. Patient centered care should be the primary focus to achieve goals by utilizing their strengths and passions and acting as a coach or a guide for an individual. Change isn’t made from the outside in, it comes from the inside out. While other clinicians may choose to practice by prescribing, I will choose to practice by meeting my patients where they are in their stage of change and promoting adherence by listening and taking the small steps with them to achieve their higher goals.
