Performed coverage evaluations and managed litigation against insureds including retaining and overseeing counsel, monitoring the defense budget and approving invoices, analyzing significant pleadings, monitoring and attending mediations and arbitrations, and negotiating and memorializing settlements. Case load consisted of over 250 matters in the UnitedStates, Canada, Europe, and India. Based in London, UK from February to July 2015.

Counseled clients on intellectual property issues including preparing patent opinion letters and conducting patent litigation risk analyses. Defended premier sports and entertainment trading card company in patent infringement litigation obtaining summary judgment that all of the asserted patent claims were invalid. Media Tech v. Upper Deck , 2008 WL 6023808 (C.D.Cal. 2008); affirmed 596 F.3d 1334 (Fed.Cir. 2010).

Represented corporate clients in complex commercial and intellectual property disputes. Part of multi-office team representing the developer of the Invisalign® system in high stakes litigation involving an ITC investigation and federal and state court actions. Represented a Chinese state-owned entity accused of trade secret misappropriation obtaining dismissal of all federal claims leading to a favorable settlement. BP Chemicals Limited v.Jiangsu Sopo Corp., 429 F.Supp.2d 1179 (E.D.Mo. 2006) (rejecting contention that Lanham Act, in conjunction with Paris Convention, creates a cause of action for misappropriation of trade secret).
