I have over two decades of experience in the UK proptech industry, residential property and media sectors, being one of the original cohort of proptech founders in the UK.Throughout my career, I’ve worked on a number of pioneering projects. I was a senior member of the project team that delivered the first online banking solution in the UK and led the launch of one of the first UK property portals. In 2005, I co-founded PropertyPriceAdvice.co.uk, the UK’s first free, consumer-facing residential AVM (online valuation model) which I successfully exited in 2008.Beyond the property industry, I pioneered tech sponsorships in motorsport by successfully negotiating and delivering the first technology partnership and sponsorship for Williams F1. In 2010, I advised on the global social media campaign for Pepsi (Pepsi Refresh) which is now a case study in the Harvard Business School curriculum.In 2020, I was central to the strategy behind the rejuvenation of the platform, brand and communications for OnTheMarket, leading to the business being recognised in the 2023 Superbrands list. OnTheMarket was subsequently acquired by CoStar Group in 2023. In 2023, I returned to my former business, PropertyPriceAdvice, to work on the launch of the first consumer-facing AI-powered residential property AVM solutions suite in the UK, where I now serve as Board Advisor, alongside my role as Board Advisor and fractional CMO for Sprift. I also work with some of the largest agency and proptech brands in the UK to support their commercial, product development, property data and analysis, communication and marketing strategies, together with mentoring the next generation of leadership talent. Other major brands I have worked with previously include Aviva, Mortgage Advice Bureau, Redrow, NatWest, Mastercard, Harrods, Harrods Estates, and Fulham F.C., the latter three during my tenure as Board and Business Advisor.My media career has seen me write for all of the highest circulation newspapers in the UK for over fifteen years and my book, Property Uncovered, was published in 2014. I’ve appeared as a property expert with regular slots on ITV’s Good Morning Britain, ITN News and This Morning, alongside Sky News and BBC News. I also hugely enjoy corporate speaking, delivering consumer-facing keynote presentations at The Ideal Homes Show and Grand Designs Live, as well as presenting at professional conferences, events, webinars and chairing workshops for EA Masters, Mortgage Advice Bureau, Belvoir and the Innovation Collaboration Group (ICG), to name but a few.
