Responsible for leadng the project management of large global employee engagement survey programmes across different private sector markets, using PRINCE 2 practices. The role involves detailed planning and scheduling of all elements of the programmes, organising and managing teams to support the projects, working with Hay group consultants to deliver a quality service to the client, clear communications to all involved throughout the project (client and internal), regular progress reviews and thorough quality checks at all stages.Management of project finances and budgets, including contracting of and working with external vendors.Involved in developing costings and presenting at sales pitches.Considerable experience in conducting employee engagement surveys, data cleaning and analysis, developing and presenting post survey action planning workshops and training sessions.Member of the Operational Excellence team and responsible for developing and presenting training materials about designing and building employee survey hierarchies, and providing general support and guidance to the global team around the Operational Excellence programme.

Joined the company as a Research Executive and progressed to Associate Director.Responsible for managing large/complex employee research programmes across different market sectors, from local government organisations and large central government departments to large well known retail and financial services organisations.Responsible for allocating resource within the Employee Research Division to projects (before and after the tendering/sales process) and tracking revenues against forecast/budgets.Responsible for ensuring project management processes are adhered to in accordance with MRQSA quality standards.Line management responsibility for a team of 6 researchers (from Research Executive to Research Manager levels) and 1 Administrative Assistant. Includes being responsible for training new recruits.Assisting junior team members with delivery of presentations to client senior management teams. Involved in developing contacts within potential client organisations, proposal writing and costings and presenting at sales pitches.Considerable experience in conducting focus groups and depth interviews, developing employee research questionnaires, data analysis and writing detailed results reports, developing and presenting results presentations to senior teams and staff within client organisations, conducting post survey action planning groups and training sessions.Involved in presenting in seminars hosted by ORC International to clients and potential clients about current employee research thinking and new developments within the company.

Conducted staff opinion and customer satisfaction surveys for MoD organisations. Set up electronic questionnaires for customers to conduct their own staff surveys and data entry. Wrote specification for a new survey tracking database that increased the efficiency of the management of the continuous working patterns survey of the Armed Forces.
