About Louisa Marcombes
I have been a freelance medical communications professional since 2020. I qualified in the UK from Cambridge University in 2001 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine. I then spent 20 years in first opinion small animal practice in the UK, including five years at the first opinion teaching hospital at the Royal Veterinary College, London. My mission is to create clear, accurate, and engaging medical content that supports the delivery of gold-standard practice and precision medicine. I have a special interest in using graphics to present data and communicate core messages, and I actively explore innovative ways of achieving this. I have published several articles in the field of medical and veterinary communications, including a graphic medicine article and a critical overview of the EU Veterinary Medicines Directive. I enjoy working with clients from different backgrounds and disciplines, and I always aim to meet their needs and expectations.
