Prioritize specialises in Intelligent Transport Systems applications development and support. Formed in 2007, Prioritize has worked on world-leading ITS systems such as SCATS and PTIPS, and was instrumental in the inception and development of PTIPS. Other systems include TMIS, and the TfNSW Live Traffic Website.Currently Prioritize is working with the RMS on the following projects:- The SCATS Priority Engine, an official SCATS product providing a multi-modal Traffic Signal Priority engine that allows external systems to request TSP with a high degree of sophistication, automation and optimisation.- The Premier's Initiative Freight Priority Trial - providing Traffic Signal Priority to freight vehicles equipped with DSRC units.- The Sydney CBD South East Light Rail project, providing design input and review feedback for the traffic signalling aspects of this new light rail installation. - Software for assessing the coordination performance of SCATS using vehicle travel times.

Worked extensively on large-scale ITS projects as Transport Systems Development Manager within the SCATS family of products, with 18 developers/testers reporting to me.Won Team performance awards at both RMS and TfNSW for different projects.Projects included:Public Transport Information and Priority System (PTIPS)• I was Development Manager of PTIPS from requirements definition through to deployment. PTIPS was a multimillion-dollar project, and is TfNSW’s primary tool for bus service operational and contract management. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PTIPSLive Traffic Website• As Development Manager from requirements through to deployment, successfully delivered the Transport Management Centre’s (TMC) Live Traffic website (livetraffic.com) that presents traveller information updates to the people of NSW.Traffic Incident Reporting Facility (TIRF)• TIRF is used by the TMC to record traffic incidents, road works, and special events for distribution to various media channels, including the Live Traffic website.TransIS• Managed the development of TransIS, which provides a data stream of SCATS congestion and other traffic information to third parties for incorporation into their own data feeds. Data streamed by TransIS is used by Tom Tom navigation devices, and the Google Maps Live Traffic Layer, amongst othersHong Kong Electronic SCATS Wall Map• Developed an electronic wall map for the Hong Kong traffic control centre that is used for monitoring the statuses of their SCATS traffic signals. This included on-site installation and training.
