Initially planned to be a "temporary solution" while a custom ERP solution was being developed for the program, the fully integrated system I created ended up being the global solution for three cycles of WSR, processing over 250,000 service and management tasks. The system, application and database was so successful, it eliminated the need for the $1 Million+ cost of developing the original ERP system. The solution was online and in use for 9 years at UBS.In 2009, UBS rolled out a multi-million dollar upgrade to its legacy messaging system using Microsoft Lync 2010. Faced with the challenge of needing a comprehensive Lync usage, metering, and call accounting database for all modalities, and after receiving multiple proposals from outside vendors at costs of several hundred thousand dollars, was asked if I could essentially repeat the success of the WSR Program solution with an in-house solution.
