About Louis Clement
I’m a very experienced Creative Director - mostly in digital, but more recently integrated, with a ton of social and content. I co-founded Skive back in 2001, and helped it grow from a small specialist production house to an award-winning independent full service digital shop with a very nice roster of clients. When we acquired another agency (Soup) in 2009, I subsequently spent 18 months as Creative Partner of Skive Group.After leaving Skive in 2011 I worked on pitches for global brands and steered the vision for large-scale digital projects. I had a brief spell at B-Reel, helping win, direct and deliver groundbreaking digital engagement, before joining an ambitiously assembled team of talented people at Razorfish, London. I did a stint working on internal and customer-facing brand experience and communications for Barclays, with the clever people at StartJG. Most recently, I spent three and a half years at independent agency Waste, more than tripling the size of the team, establishing new creative services, evolving the culture, growing existing clients and winning new ones along with a bunch of awards.I'm commercially minded, strategically grounded, confident pitching, comfortably client-facing. As digital has matured from novelty to utility, I've increasingly been working in a more integrated space, with the focus firmly on concept rather than channel. I'm a believer in emotional connections, telling stories people can relate to, and the power of carefully crafted messaging.I've been on numerous judging panels including MAA, BIMA and D&AD, and am a regular mentor at the School of Communication Arts. I've staggered home from most award ceremonies, occasionally clutching a trophy I won rather than pilfered. Specialties: Generating good ideas. Failing that, spotting good ideas.
