I have been a police officer for 30 years, working in a variety of roles. Notably I am a PIP 2 investigator and have a background in safeguarding, and investigating and managing serious and complex crimes. Through my time in the police I have developed invaluable skills and my ability to communicate with people from all backgrounds is one of my strengths. I was awarded a Chief Constable commendation for bravery. I currently manage a multi-disciplined team within the South West Regional Organised Crime Unit, the South West Regional Cyber Crime Unit, including a digital forensic lab and investigation teams. I am a supportive and encouraging manager, but I am able to challenge when necessary. I manage a high performing and happy team. I have managed many projects and have successfully led teams through significant change. I attend and contribute to many strategic groups, analyzing information from multiple sources and preparing and presenting reports.
