I cover the whole of the North of Scotland providing employee contracts of employment and handbooks to businesses large and small and providing advice to employers on employee relations issues.

• I lead and managed projects covering a full spectrum of HR related activities in this well known Sussex based consultancy. The majority of clients I dealt with were in the social housing sector and these organisations had many challenges to face in adapting from being publicly run local government organisations to becoming successfully run private sector Registered Social Landlords or ALMOs (Arms Length Management Organisations). Some other social housing clients were facing organisational restructure following mergers and acquisitions. I also undertook other projects for retail and construction industry clients and these projects were again initiated in response to the clients’ requirements to manage change in their organisations or to focus on organisational growth and development. Project activities normally involved creating tailor made solutions for clients and included:Learning and Development projects to develop management and staff including the design and delivery of many different business and soft skills short courses, development centres, psychometric testing etc.Recruitment and Selection ProjectsReward and Recognition ProjectsOther activities undertaken were the design of questionnaires and surveys together with collation and analysis of results, the production of written articles for both company and external media publications as well as the preparation of a quarterly employment law update newsletter for retained clients.
