Louise is an International award winning fantasy author whose best-selling 'Shadow through Time' trilogy with Simon & Schuster Australia was selected by the Doubleday book club as their Editors Choice. In Feb 2012 the series was released digitally by Pan Macmillan’s ebook imprint Momentum Books. In September 2012 her 'Hapless Heroes' trilogy of romantic comedies was published digitally by Flirt Press. In 2016 she released her four book 'Husband Series' of erotic romance novels and in 2017, the first three books of that series were in the top ten of the Australian Romance Readers Association 'Favourite Erotic Romances of 2016'.Louise has traveled to New York to present the Queensland government’s 'Queensland Writing Showcase' to speculative fiction agents and publishers, introducing them to the work of emerging Queensland authors. She was invited to attended the prestigious 'Crossover' multi-media think tank in Adelaide sponsored by the South Australian Film Commission and was also selected to attend the [imi] workshops on Interactive Media Innovation funded by the Australian Research Council and the Australia Council for the Arts. She subsequently secured two creative residencies with multi-media companies Defiant Development and Hoodlum, working as a scriptwriter for games. As a writing tutor for over ten years, Louise runs her own business "Writers: Working with Louise Cusack" at www.ifyoumustwrite.com and has completed over 200 manuscript assessments, tutored over 100 writing workshops and mentored over 400 hours with more than 50 clients, helping them develop their writing craft. Louise's clients have been accepted for publication by Hachette, Harper Collins, Allen and Unwin, Harlequin and Pan MacMillan. Louise has tutored at writing retreats and also been a Writer in Residence with the Queensland Writers Centre, Logan City/Redlands City&Gold Coast City Councils, helping to develop writing programs for regional writers.
