Spent 6 years working with the General Manager and Executive Committee at Viceroy. My role included the management of the Executive Office by coordinating work flow, equipment maintenance, internal and external communication along with assisting the General Manager in the running of the resort. Extensive diary management was an integral part of the role. Also, I covered all aspects of the front of house of the Resort which included Concierge services for VIPs and Front Desk Management; handling guest complaints and requests. Confidentiality played a major part in my role as I was privy to all personnel information and also worked closely with the Director of HR when the General Manager needed to be involved. In a nutshell, I was the General Manager’s right hand. I served under 3 different General Manager’s.
