Louise was initially Managing Partner, Americas then launched Areka Consulting's Global Indirect Procurement practice in 2020. Primary efforts include strategy, sourcing, implementation and optimization across categories such as travel, meetings, expense, payments, outsourcing, procure to pay, source to pay.

As Managing Partner for the Americas for Areka Consulting, Louise worked with corporate customers on the entire procurement cycle from market assessment, sourcing or renegotiation, implementation, and optimization. Areka’s clients include many of the top 200 T+E spending companies in the world across public and private sectors. Over the past 10 years, Areka grew to be the largest independent firm focused on the buy-side for travel, payments, events through engaging with clients and promoting thought leadership. Louise is an invited speaker/moderator at more than 50 events each year, and considered a top expert in the travel value chain globally. Topics include distribution, sustainability, diversity and inclusion, procurement, data, duty of care, policy, market landscape. Louise's and her family host international students from Latin America and Central Europe.

Reporting directly to the CEO - lead a variety of initiatives as BCD Travel grows and innovates.

Global Sales, Product and Marketing led the charge for product innovation, strategic direction and new client wins around the globe of more than 12 Billion (new air sales awarded) in 10 years. Our global commercial team averaging 150 strong contributed to high client retention and solid financial results during the first ten years of BCD Travel. In addition to being a world class sales organization, marketing grew to a truly global function as BCD Travel built the powerhouse global brand. Niche advancements included Energy, Resource & Marine sector and Integrated Travel and Meetings programs. Dramatic advancements in the tech modernized the entire product portfolio. A modern global IT organization incubated for more than 3 years within our group then shifted to a new leader in 2012.
