I am responsible for creating the duty administrator rota, ensuring I take into consideration staff annual leave and courses and I deputise for my manager when she is absent ensuring that all time sensitive queries and information requests from HQ are processed quickly.As a proactive staff member, dedicated to improving working practices whenever possible, I have managed multiple administration projects, increasing efficiency and adapting to business needs. Examples include the creation of allocation and appointment audits in my present role; reacting to the requirement of the clinic to change to additional demand, due to staff shortage. The additional demand placed upon remaining staff required increased protocol to ensure patient appointments were not missed and mental health appointment time procedure not violated. In my previous role as administrator at BMI Hospital, Lincoln, in response to clinician complaints regarding department and treatment space, recognising the clinical staff requirement to expand their facilities, I sought and discovered larger vacant premises within the hospital grounds. I suggested the relocation, highlighting the benefits of department expansion. The project was accepted and universally praised by managers, clinicians and patients, expanding further I created a dedicated physiotherapy assistive supply shop for patients. I was tasked with managing the department’s relocation to larger premises, liaising with the Executive Director, maintenance team, and all hospital departments, I successfully managed a smooth transition to our new site.
