After almost 15 years continuous employment with Microsoft, I have spent the last 8 years working in a local primary school in the position as school administrator. This was driven by my need to work locally, on a part time basis to suit family life and reduce my work related travel! My most recent role has given me valuable financial, HR personnel & Facilities Management experience in addition to my IT services background. I am an experienced individual with 18 years’ experience within the IT services business. I have a proven record of client management to a broad range of customers across all industry sectors throughout the UK and beyond. Primarily known as being extremely customer focused and effective communicator with a proven ability to work co-operatively both within a team and between IT and Business units. Excellent service delivery management experience and strong commercial experience gained within the IT services industry. Enthusiastic and keen to learn new skills and take on new challenges and responsibilities.On a side note, I am keen to see the advantages of technology and IT work for the greater benefit of all, whether it be via apprenticeship schemes, delivering “Internet Safety” presentations via Citizenship programs to local parents, teachers and childcare professionals in the charitable sector. I am especially interested in all aspects of CSR programs and the benefits they bring to both companies, charities and the employees. It’s all about “not what technology is, but how it provides enrichment and benefit to peoples day to day lives”.
