I have a combined total of 30 years’ experience in Health and Social care and the remainder in Business Admin, Sales, Leadership, Management and Coaching. I have gained extensive knowledge being a Rota Manager, Carer, Complex Care Manager, Training Manager, Learning and Development Partner and Head of Learning and Development. I have throughout my career always maintained an interest in Health and Social care when I sat my Diploma in Care in 1988. Whilst working with a Group of companies for fifteen years I progressed from a position in telesales through to Office Manager. With this progression came relevant internal training and self-improvement training. Therefore I am greatly experienced in all aspects of Office Management and have the ability to implement procedures, improve processes and work under pressure, ensuring I can work to budgets and deadlines. The role of Rota Manager has empowered me to become a fast and effective problem solver. I pride myself in my interpersonal skills and build strong working relationships. It was during my role as a Complex Care Manager that I discovered my passion for teaching and coaching, I followed this passion to gain the qualifications I required as a National Trainer and now Lead and have been in a Learning and Development Role for 14 years. As a Learning and Development lead, I run the training, matrix, competencies, LMS and ensure I work with key internal stakeholders for twenty Nursing and Residential Homes nationally., I have a complete understanding of all Development needs for all roles in a Care Home setting.
