About Louise Raevdal Lund Christensen

Future energy production with sustainable energy sources require flexible energy demand. My work concerns model predictive control of residential space heating systems with district heating supply. The control system is used for load shifting by utilizing the thermal mass for heat accumulation. Developing solutions for sustainable energy design and healthy buildings motivates me. Therefore, doing research to promote climate change mitigation falls natural to me. Building installations should maintain comfortable indoor climate by focusing on the user. My PhD study focus on user comfort and influence on system control when developing a new smart energy solution. Personally, I will always attend to a task with curiosity, enthusiasm and great responsibility. I am a humble, yet confident person and I am not afraid of presenting arguments for my decisions. I always show up with a smile and I appreciate good colleagues and an atmosphere with free sharing of knowledge.Key competences:- Mathematical programming (Matlab, C#)- Flexible energy consumption- Simulation of energy and indoor climate (EnergyPlus, IDA ICE) - Data analysis- Design of HVAC systems
