The Learning Product Owner role is focused on creating competitive advantage through leveraging Learning as a strategic initiative to grow our people and our business. Product Owners work in partnership with Business stakeholders to ensure learning solutions are aligned with Organisational priorities. The role is accountable for creating a clear vision and strategic roadmap for the product and translates this vision into a prioritised pipeline of work. Leading the design and implementation of key learning solutions that support the Strategic Workforce Plan and Learning and Development Strategy. The role is responsible for managing key stakeholders in relation to the implementation of the product for the business and leading the product team by determining the required tasks and activity within the operational context.Learning Product Owner Scope: • Manage the Onboarding and Inductions portfolio across Learning, which encompasses approximately 13,000 learners across Suncorp, including areas such as Customer Marketplace (Stores and Contact Centres), Insurance, Banking, Life and Wealth as well as external brokers and intermediaries;• Create 3 year roadmap for the Onboarding and Induction products which encompasses 2000 onboarding and job readiness assets including instructor led, digital and social learning interventions.

The objective of the Talent Manager role was to create value for our Suncorp customers through the development of Suncorp strategies, governance and policies to evolve the Suncorp workforce to meet the needs of the future.Managers work fluidly across the talent portfolio to prioritise work and deliver initiatives that maximise business value. The talent portfolio has accountability to know, grow and drive talent composition and capability across Suncorp. Specific areas of focus include; talent management, talent acquisition, leadership strategy, values and behaviours, engagement, career management and diversity and inclusion.During my time in the Talent Manager role, the initial focus was Diversity and Inclusion, and was responsible to develop portfolio strategies, governance and frameworks to optimise the diversity of our workforce and to create an inclusive environment. The role oversees and drives the deployment of initiatives, engaging fluidly across customers and stakeholders to drive appropriate prioritisation and business benefit. Underpinning this is the creation of standard practices, reporting and governance and identification and implementation of process improvements and contributing to the development of a strong community of practice. To maximise customer offering, the role also included providing specialist advice and best practice insights across the talent portfolio based on external research and trends and themes emerging.

The purpose of this role is to successfully embed a safety and wellbeing culture across Commercial and Personal Insurance, through the delivery of mindset and behavioural change initiatives focusing on the way we approach, deal and manage safety and wellbeing.

During my time working for this leading organisation, I achieved several promotions due to outstanding performance leading to my role as Manager Group Compliance Training where I was responsible for the successful management and delivery o the group-wide compliance training framework and associated learning programs.

At this time, I was responsible for project managing the Group LMS project towards the achievement of key milestones and deliverables. This involved the creation of a successful business case for the implementation of a group-wide Learning Management System as well as simplifying learning operations, tracking compliance requirements, delivering reductions in spending and enabling business units to align learning activities with cost effective and best practice models.

Within this role I was responsible for the management of a team within learning systems and operations to ensure the development of learning systems strategies and implementation of systems solutions across the group, as well as providing support for group leadership programs.

Designed and delivered training to employees on product, policies, systems, process and procedures of the organisation for key product launches and project implementations for the Asia Pacific region.
