In April 2013 I moved my business to a purpose built private clinic attached to my home. This marked the next step of my journey to develop my skincare and health skills. I refer clients to a local dermatologist privately when conditions are beyond my skill set and this has offered me a valuable insight. In the future I hope to get more involved in promoting the role of Beauty and Skincare professionals in the early detection of skin cancers and I am keen to research potential development paths for Beauty and Skincare Professionals who are capable of taking their knowledge and experience to a higher level. Dr Varma has allowed me to watch him lecture and helped me with my continued professional development.I have researched and worked with many products over the years and the partner products I choose to use in my business are Dermalogica, Environ, Jane Iredale Mineral Make Up and Advanced Nutrition Programme to truly provide a totally inside out approach to skin health. I regularly train at the International Institute Of Anti Ageing, Dermalogica and The International Dermal Institute.Over the last ten years I have undertaken many hours of skin specific training. I work very hard to earn the right to call myself an expert.I am continuously studying to attain the relevant new standard qualifications to underpin my experience and industry training. Best practice and integrity are in my DNA. Recently I find myself exploring a keen interest in Mental health for clients and therapists. I am continually developing my training in this area.

I owned and ran a Beauty and Skincare Business inside Trent Bridge the famous Test Match cricket ground. In this location I built a loyal and extensive client base. This led me to really work on my skincare experience and in 2012 I was awarded expert status by Dermalogica and the International Dermal Institute. In 2009 I relocated my business to Advance Physiotherapy in West Bridgford where Increasingly the issues that clients presented me with became more challenging and I trained hard to accommodate them. Great results meant I was ready to make the leap and develop my skill set becoming an Advanced Skin Practitioner.

I managed a team of ten therapists and receptionists and was the contact point for the Health and Beauty Manager.

I worked as a Beauty Therapist then Assistant Manager followed by Manager of Eden Health And Beauty Suite. During my time there I managed up to six staff and was involved in other aspects of the companies Leisure interests. I was fortunate to gain valuable life experience and challenges outside of my Beauty Management role.
