I am a specialist adviser to the hospitality industry and a partner in the firm’s Property and Hospitality Practice. I advise clients on all aspects of law relating to the hospitality sector, including the sale and acquisition of hotels, pubs, resorts and other licensed premises, negotiation of leases of detached bottleshops, hotels, bars, resorts, liquor barns, nightclubs and complex agreements for lease, applications for new liquor licences, transfers of liquor licences, applications for detached bottle shops and various other types of applications in relation to liquor licences and gaming machine licences.Experienced in the commercial property aspects of law, I also handle matters including commercial and retail leasing and commercial property sales and acquisitions.My clients include owners and tenant operators of restaurants, bars, hotels, resorts, pubs, nightclubs and detached bottleshops and developers of small to large hotels and pubs together with commercial clients such as property developers, retailers and individuals. I acted for a major supermarket chain on their Queensland hotel sales, acquisitions, liquor and gaming applications and leasing for 19 years.
