I'm an experienced data protection (CIPP/E certified) and legal compliance professional with 20 years’ spent in roles in both the public and private sector. I'm currently Privacy Manager at BBC Studios, responsible for implementing data protection compliance initiatives and providing privacy advice to our production and distribution businesses, as well as to Global News Ltd. Previously I spent 6 years at the BBC as Senior Policy Advisor in the TV Licensing Management Team. Before joining the BBC in 2008, I was Policy & Compliance Manager at Cable&Wireless UK Ltd where I spent 8 years working in various compliance roles in both its telecoms and acquired ISP businesses.
